Veena Hausen serves as Director at ASPIRE, the innovation acceleration arm of Abu Dhabi’s Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC), established in May 2020 to drive the Emirate’s R&D strategy. Leading the PACE department, Veena spearheads global collaborations to address future challenges through cutting-edge solutions.

Under her leadership, Veena has built the PACE department from the ground up, fostering a robust network of local and international partners. Her strategic vision has positioned ASPIRE as a key player in global innovation ecosystems.

With over 18 years of experience across three continents, Veena is a seasoned technology and management expert. She oversees transformative programs in Autonomous Robotics, Agritech, Foodtech, AI, and Cybersecurity, driving advancements that align with global priorities.

Veena holds a master’s degree in computer science and engineering, specializing in Embedded Systems, from Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands.
