Magi Richani is the Founder and CEO of Alpine Bio, a molecular farming company transforming plants into the world’s most efficient protein factories. Starting with the production of dairy proteins in plants, Alpine Bio can produce a variety of complex and functional proteins in a sustainable and cost-competitive way. Magi was named in 2022 as an MIT 35 under 35 Innovator in Climate. She holds a BS in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of Texas Austin and an MS in Engineering & Project Management from UC Berkeley. Prior to founding Alpine Bio, Magi was a Project Manager at Shell where she worked on managing the engineering, construction and commissioning of several capital projects
