Jose Francisco Fernandez Serna is a Spanish entrepreneurial executive in the Food Industry based in Dubai, UAE more than 16 years.
He has over 18 years of experience managing international expansion in the Food Manufacturing and Ingredients Industries, while also focusing on disruptive Innovation, Incubation, Acceleration, and Venture Investments.
He combines an Executive / Operational role in the Food Ingredients with NED (Non-Executive Director) roles as Board or partner in different organization involved on the Food System transformation.
He is also part of the Advisory Board of different companies and start-ups from Agritech, Down Stream Processing to Desert Tech and Food Ingredients Manufacturing.
His strong interest in lifelong learning and executive education led him to be senior mentor in EIT Food and HBS and San Telmo alumnus as well as academic collaborator in different business schools (ESADE, ISBR, University of Dubai, Stellenbosch University). Additionally, he serves as a Board Member of the UAE Spanish Chamber of Commerce and Council member of the World Agriculture Forum and Advisor & Founding member of the Knowledge Hub at the UAE Food Cluster.
